lots.of.firsts
Today was a day of lots of first times:
Today I am blogging from work for the first time (damn my work ethic!)
Today was the first time I got my car towed. I left it to be parked and boom! 20minutes later my officemate told me it had been towed. 492 pesos later, I got my car back. Consider that 40 pesos is the daily minimum wage (which is what I'm getting) and it's a heck lot of money.
Today was the first time I answered questions comming from a message board. And I'm getting quite addicted to them. Or it, because it's just one message board.
Today was the first time I checked my statcounter and saw double digits!
Now, I only need to get sex.

why I am going to spend eternity in hell*
Because i thanked the powers that be for sitting those three teenage girls in the table next to mine, just fascinated about the things I would have to blog about.
reason number 347870?
Because I cursed the aforementioned powers for letting them change to another table.
*or in a clothing shop, both are just about the same.

i.will.become.a.contributing.member.of.society
another week and just one entry. bad blogger, bad blogger
Tomorrow I will become a tax paying member of mexican society, tomorrow I will aquire the right to complain about state employees because i.pay.them
I'm kiddin of course, I will only complain about police officers.
The thruth is that i will most likely receive just 400 dollars in the whole year but still, in order to receiva that I need to give receipts.
The other option was a kind of crooked manouver were I would give my employer receipts of stuff and she would use those and pay me.
Anyhow, whish me luck in dealing with bored burocrats tomorrow morning.
oh! and i lost 2.2lbs in my first week at WW. Only I'm not going to meetings anymore. I just started doing the math and my aunt was right:
"Us fat people are a really good bussiness"
520 dollars for a year at WW, 600 dollars for a year at curves, that's 1120 dollars I could save. I'm not gonna but i could, you know?

theres.no.bussiness.like.elections
I've always known.
All the country knows it too.
And apparently, Yahoo! news wants all the world to know it.
huh?
Elections are all about entertainment and no real issues. That's why Yahoo! puts the info about mexican elections in the Entertainment Industry section.
intelligent thing that Yahoo, no?

update
I haven't updated. I know. I suck.
It all started with xmas and new year's and then I tried to switch to Typepad but it's a bitch and I hated it and, most of all, I hated the idea of paying 8.99 dlls per month and not being able to have the page look like I wanted to, so I cancelled it.
And then, I got a palm as a present. And my search for the most amazing (and free) programs available started. Right now I have a bunch of games from a french dude. My favorite (maybe because it is the only one I understand 100%) is one about parabolic shoot. You have to say the angle and the weigth of the ball so it will go thru a barrier and fall on a platform. Fun! And I keep searching for an expense tracker that doesn't cost 29.99
And then I went to San Miguel de Allende for four days with my family. And I have a lovely set of cactus' pictures. I never knew there were so many different and beatiful types of cactus. It's not only nopales and magueyes. (Pictures to come)
And then, my dad bought a nano (and now I know what love is) but he discovered that his laptop doesn't have 2.0 usb.*** He was planning on buying the card but my mom said she would buy him the laptop and he could get a new one. And I (or is it me?), beeing the family geek, am in charge of finding out which one to buy. Currently I'm between a Dell Inspiron 630m or a HP Pavilion 1315.
We own HP and Compaq laptops and pc's, both are good. But I'm liking the Dell better because you get 1gb of RAM instead of 512mb, more rpm and another usb port.
wow! the last part was REALLY boring!
Anyhow, stay tunned, I have lots of pictures, two of them I think are gorgeous.
I also went inside an abandoned silver mine. Only a rope to guide and support you. Have you ever been inside a mine? It's a scary and eye opening experience. And I only went like ten meters down (like 30 ft I think) when the whole mine goes on for about 100 meters.
***although the "discovery" went like this:
Me: Dad, does the computer tell you when you plug your usb memory that you should put it in a faster port?
dad: oh yes, it does it all the time
me: that means you do not have 2.0
dad: but I have two usb ports
me: but none of the are 2.0
dad: but i have two, see?
me: (breath in, breath out) yes dad, but those are sloooow ports, you need fast ports.
dad: so
me: let me do some research and I will tell you tomorrow
dad: ok, where's the music?
me: I can't download music to the ipod
dad: fuck, is it defective?
me: no dad, it's because of the usb ports. I'm going to bed, ok? I'll fix it tomorrow, ok? You go to bed now, ok?
And the next day, he called and interrupted my shower because he had no idea how to turn the ipod off.
It's pretty fun to be around him.
(BTW: ipod with radio? yay!)
Quite long entry, huh?
